Cherri Tallman has joined Blue-Mystique. She will be guiding tours out Traders' Point launch ever Thursday and Friday nights at 6 PM
Come and try kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on the serene waters of the Manistique River with Blue Mystique. Paddle to a beach in the harbor for a picnic, float to Manistique’s picturesque lighthouse, enjoy the wildlife. At the end of your float, fish off the dock, shop our shop, enjoy a glass of wine at the winery across the river, and have ice cream and a great meal right next door.
Blue Mystique is a Lake Michigan outfitter, a pioneer on the ‘coast less traveled’. Blue Mystique offers a selection of kayaks, tandem kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, road bikes, and for more fun, bicycles built for two! They offer hourly or daily rentals. If you’re camping, renting a cabin, or want to explore outlying areas, you can haul to your location. Life jackets are provided at no charge in sizes for toddlers to adults. Want to borrow waterproof bag for a phone or wallet? Just ask, they’ve got you covered! Enjoy a relaxed, affordable group event for all ages and experience levels. (We’ve seen dogs join in on the fun.)
The staff is trained for skills and safety by a highly experienced local ACA certified instructor each year and have up-to-date weather technology literally at their fingertips.

Featured on TV10, Blue-Mystique’s ‘Listen to Your Art’ is an offering of art/science classes for all ages in all types of weather. We can create inside, or out with a view of the water. Select one of our nature-inspired art/science classes developed for little hands and big hands. Relax and allow your imagination to soar. Liz notes that Blue Mystique is great for families and groups because there are all sorts of activities going on, “Maybe Dad wants to take the kiddos on the water and Mom just wants to hang out and be creative.”
Full Moon and Hot Summer Night paddles are a must! We head out every Thursday and Friday evening at 6PM launching from Traders’ Point. Family coming to town? Book a private guided tour, available for groups of 4 or more.
On October 6th at 10 a.m. gather at blue-mystique. Cost is $100 per person. Piggyback is $75 per person. The tour is six hours, camaraderie and libations to follow at The Jack Pine Lodge.

Could you use a good paddling? The 3rd annual "Hops on the Harbor" Brew Festival will be held August 18, 2018, noon until 5:00 p.m. in Manistique, MI at the Manistique Marina. Come and enjoy an afternoon on the harbor! We will have many beers and ciders to choose from several local brewers! Come and meet the brewers and taste their latest brews!

Yesterday's event was the Full Moon Paddle, and it turned out to be a great success! Over 40 people in kayaks came to the event. Even though it was a little cloudy, the paddle was nice and easy. Here on the Manistique River, the paddle was protected from the wind by surrounding trees. Thank you for coming everybody, it was nice to see all the new faces on the water. Can't wait to host this event next year!
